A Little Bit About Me
ASA, hope everyone finds what they're looking for either on this site or elsewhere...good luck! Never thought I'd join one of these sites, but decided to give it a try and see what happens..hoping to find my better half, iA
I was born and raised in the US and have lived in Georgia for several years. I grew up in a religious and conservative household. But my parents raised me and my brother with a good balance between deen and duniya. I've always considered myself to be religious, but still trying to better myself each day. I'm always striving to become closer to our deen. I've been trying to get into the habit of praying namaz regularly (but I hope to marry someone who does pray 5 times a day, so maybe I can become better with praying each day and on time, iA). I've eaten only halaal my whole life and am very strict about eating ONLY halaal no matter what. I don't wear hijab, but dress pretty modestly--not too strict on that though, hopefully that can be something I can also change, iA. All of my best friends are really devout muslims. Alhumdulilah, they have all been a really good influence on me as well.
Some other things about me:
I'm totally a girly girl - love shopping, dressing up, eating out with friends, etc..love traveling, the beach, swimming, hiking, road trips, trying new things, and being spontaneous and adventurous. I love to laugh! I enjoy all kinds of music, movies, singing and dancing..my whole family does lol, except for my Dad...I love going out, but I'm also a homebody - I can't be out all the time. Sometimes I'd rather just stay home and spend time with family. My family means the world to me. I'm also kind of a private person - I guess I'm a little introverted as well..can be reserved and shy at times and usually only open up with my close group of friends (I come across as very talkative and outgoing though...well I do love to talk..hehe). I love the simple things in life!
I love kids and would love to have several of my own one day iA - I was studying Early Childhood Education to be an elementary school teacher when I first started college, but then changed my major. I regretted it so much later on, but now I'm planning on going back for my teaching degree.
People would probably best describe me as fun, loving, smart, but a little ditsy at times lol; sincere, honest, trustworthy, generous, soft-spoken, respectful, modest, and full of life..

What I Am Looking For
Looking for someone who has lived most of their life in the US (someone who's at least lived here for more than 10 years) *So only US citizens please.* My background is Pakistani. While I would love to find someone with a similar background, I'm also open to other ethnicities...just looking to find a husband who is a good practicing muslim.
I'm looking for someone who is religious, down to earth, funny (someone who has a good sense of humor, but can be serious when its necessary); someone who has strong morals and is honest, loyal, caring, family oriented and always devoted to his family, patient, understanding, and basically someone who can put up with me throughout the years lol..and trust me there's a lot you will have to put up with ;) and most importantly someone who puts Allah first in everything.
I just want to find someone that shares similar beliefs and values. We don't have to be exactly the same, otherwise that would get boring fast and we would just get on each others nerves :)
I just want someone who will love and support me no matter what, and will be there by my side in good times and bad. I want us to be best friends and to grow old together, iA
Also I'm really not that picky, but it would be nice if I could find someone at least 5'9 and above (I'm not that tall myself, but i like to wear high heels most of the time lol), and someone with good hygiene :)
